2017 WWC Volunteer Opportunities
International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) 2017 Women World Cup (WWC) will be held at PANAM, Markham, from Oct 27th to 29th, 2017, by Table Tennis Canada Association (TTCAN).Volunteers will be responsible for event image collecting, social media updates, reception and more. The volunteers will start from June to the end of the event in October.
Volunteer Open Positions
1. HR Assistant:
Maintain volunteers by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training volunteers. Ensure volunteers are well-organized and fit their volunteer position.
2. IT Assistant:
Assist staff to set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.), and help to solve relate problems during the 2017 WWC.
3. Content and Image:
Review content and images from assistant photographers and associations to select appropriate media and materials.
4. Social Media:
a. Manage company social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
b. Engage in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms, and create dynamic written, graphic, and video content.
Take photos and videos during the 2017 WWC, upload visual resources to certain platforms and relate volunteers.
6. Website Update & Website Maintenance:
a. Update the newest information including articles and images to the website.
Retouch photos and videos using PS and Illustrator
Translate English content on the 2017 WWC website to Franch, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish.

I love Photography and table tennis, this event is a perfect union of two of my favourite things. Having the tournament in Canada is also very exciting and I am extremely fortunate to be a part of it.

I volunteer for the 2017 WWC because it helps develop my skills and work experiences, such as writing and cooperating with others. Table Tennis is also one of my favorite sports, so It’s very exciting to be a part of an international tournament.
